Antigen testing is another method of detecting covid-19. The sample is taken by health and medical staff and analysed at reception. The good thing about it is that it gives a quick answer as to whether you have covid-19 or not.
 However, it cannot be used to rule out that you have the disease. In the event of a negative test result, you may therefore in some cases need another test.

Antigentester kallas också ”snabbtester” för att de utförs patientnära med kort tid till resultat.

A recovery certificate is a type of travel document that you can use if you have been infected with covid-19 for the past 180 days. It must have been at least 11 days since your first positive test result for you to receive a certificate of recovery.

Tillfrisknandebevis är ett covidbevis som visar att du testat positivt för covid-19 i ett så kallat NAAT-test (PCR eller liknande) utfört av hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal eller annan behörig testpersonal. Egenprovtagning och självtester, som många regioner använt, gäller inte för tillfrisknandebevis enligt EU-förordningen. Vårdpersonal måste fysiskt utföra provet på dig.

För de flesta är det enklare och snabbare att få ett vaccinationsbevis eller ett testbevis (efter negativt test för covid-19) i stället för ett tillfrisknandebevis, eftersom tillfrisknandebeviset kräver att du uppfyller specifika villkor.
Tänk på att du inte kan vända dig till regionen och begära ett tillfrisknandebevis baserat på testresultatet hos en privat vårdgivare.

The Regulation on EU digital covid certificates was entered on 1 July 2021. Anyone who is a citizen or resident of EU countries can have a digital covid certificate issued and checked throughout the EU.
The certificate is digital proof that you either have been:
✔ Vaccinated against covid-19.
✔ Tested negative.
✔ Had covid-19 before.
